Respite Care is an ideal opportunity for carers to take a well earned break. You can relax, knowing that your loved one is in a safe welcoming environment receiving first class care, that will leave both you and them refreshed and relaxed.
Long Term Care is offered to people who may experience difficulty in looking after themselves or decided that they would prefer to live with company and support. Our staff are all highly trained and offer warm and dignified assistance with the activities of daily living.
Palliative Care is available to those with a chronic or terminal illness that may no longer be responding to treatment. Our staff work closely with the palliative nursing team in order give personal support to family, friends and carers. By using active care methods to improve pain control and quality of life we are able to ensure high standards of compassionate care in dignified surroundings at this difficult time.
Dementia / Alzheimers Care is available in the 'Darac Suite'; this is a dedicated 11 bedded unit, with it’s own intimate dining, recreational and outdoor facilities. Here we specialise in the care of residents who have a cognitive impairment, the structure is designed to meet the unique needs of this group residents who due to their illness have a greater need for social and occupation inclusion; we strive to provide a purposeful existence for these residents.
Our aim with all stays, whether short or longer term is to provide seamless continuity of care, and our well-trained and qualified staff work hard to ensure that everyone's personal desires and preferences are respected.
