The tranquil atmosphere of Oakfield is created throughout the home in various recreation, activity rooms and extensive gardens. Whilst our premises are over 45,000ft², the bedrooms are dispersed through four wings and are easily accessible from the central core, thus achieving a fine balance of community and privacy. We provide a range of en-suite bedrooms from single deluxe to shared rooms and studio apartments which can cater for couples, which is ideal for retirement. Guests are encouraged to personalise their rooms as far as is practical, including bringing their own furniture, if desired.

Oakfield caters for all levels of dependency, along with convalescent and respite care. A specialist High Dependency Unit caters for guests suffering from dementia and an Observation Unit caters for guests requiring more intense nursing care.
Recreational activities play a large part of life in Oakfield, with our purpose-built Fitness Suite, Jacuzzi, Hydrotherapy Baths and sauna for our active guests and our Library, IT Facility, gardens, cinema and hobby rooms for the more contemplative resident. |
